Well, it’s officially the very last day of November 2022. December is just a stone’s throw into the future. It’s already there in some parts of the world.
December is always a time for reflection. We look back over the year that has passed and try to remember the good and the bad. What were our favorite films? Our favorite books? What did we do right and what did we do wrong? How do we make next year better? I’ll have a lot of posts up here on this blog about my favorite games and shows and whatnot, so please follow me if you like.
Today is also the release date of a show I was really looking forward to: Pasture. It is the sequel to the old 1988 film and sees the return of Willow Ufgood. Warwick Davis reprises his role as the Wizard of Nelwin. He was only 18 when he played the character in the original movie! We’ll see if it’s a faithful return to the world created by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard, or if it falls into the many traps that so many modern shows fall into.
Okay, let’s make this wordle! The last wordle of the month!
Today’s Wordle solution (with spoilers)
The hint: This helps enormously in your training.
The hint: There are more consonants than vowels in this word.
This is one of those cases that proves that bad luck in life can always turn for the better (although, of course, the reverse is also true).
my opening guess, Legal action, seemed pretty good, with two vowels and some very common letters. Unfortunately, at 654 (the worst I’ve had in weeks), it left me with a really massive number of possible solutions.
Since there was neither a yellow nor a green box, I guessed another pretty awesome word –Keys-with two fresh vowels and three other pretty shared consonants. However, I couldn’t grope my way to a yellow or green box and left tip #2 with all shades of gray and 32 possible words to choose from.
And this is where my luck turned. I wanted to choose a word that contained both a ‘U’ and a ‘Y’ (I figured ‘Q’ probably wouldn’t be an option since there are no other vowels left, since QU almost always has another vowel right after it). To learn contained two very common consonants and seemed like a pretty good guess to get me closer. Imagine my surprise when all the boxes turned green!
I should have opened with to learn! That would have been really lucky. Anyway, I beat Wordle Bot today. He guessed Slate / Pinot / Squad / Study and walks away with a red ribbon and a big L.
I get the W on this one and I’ll end that with a yawn Hooray!
Peace and love, dearest worlders. Be excellent to one another.
