Season 4 Week 10 quest guide

Get Chromed combined for 180 seconds in a single match (180)

This quest may seem daunting, but there is a relatively easy way to complete it. Staying in a Chrome Vortex (marked as a tornado on the map) for 180 seconds will keep you Chromed, making this quest a breeze. Otherwise, you can damage a Chrome tree at Chrome Crossroads, Herald’s Sanctum, or one of the other Chrome locations to get your hands on a Chrome Splash. Then use them continuously to stay chromed for 180 seconds.

Damage opponents with an evolved EvoChrome weapon (150)

For this quest, land at one of the chrome POIs above, such as: B. Herald’s Sanctum and look out for a chrome chest. Open them up to get your hands on an EvoChrome weapon like the Shotgun or Burst Rifle, then use one of them to evolve it. Dealing damage with EvoChrome weapons makes them evolve less often, so make sure you use one so it evolves once. Remember that you can make an EvoChrome weapon evolve by damaging NPCs. Then you need to damage players or NPCs with this evolved weapon. As long as you deal 150 damage, you get credit for it.

Destroy Slurp Barrels (10)

You can find Slurp Barrels at gas stations and other busy locations, like the Ridgeline Ranger Station vault. You’ll likely complete this one naturally, but if you want to tick it off your list quickly, we recommend landing at a Gas Station (marked on the map above) to quickly destroy lots of Slurp Barrels.

Eliminate players with the Cobra DMR (2)

Again, this is a quest that you will likely complete naturally, as the Cobra DMR is one of the best weapons in the game. If you’re having trouble, play team-based modes and take down downed enemies with the Cobra DMR to make this easier.

Evolve EvoChrome weapons twice in a single match (2)

Remember that you can find EvoChrome weapons in chrome areas on the map. Make sure you land in one of these locations like Herald’s Sanctum to find an EvoChrome weapon and use it on NPCs to evolve them. For this quest you need to evolve it twice. There is actually a great place in Herald’s Sanctum where the Herald is located, right at the north point of this area. Two wolves will spawn here, so damage them as much as possible to evolve your weapons and you will complete this quest with ease.

Search a chest in both Lustrous Lagoon and Rave Cave (2)

This one is a bit tricky simply because of the distance between the two points, but if you land in Lustrous Lagoon first it will be easier. That’s because this area has a vehicle spawn to the northeast across from the temple. Land in the Lustrous Lagoon, open a chest, and then make a beeline for the vehicle. From here head to Rave Cave and when you arrive run through this area until you find a chest. After opening both of them, complete this quest.

Use a D-Launcher at Shimmering Shrine or at Cloudy Condos (1)

D-Launchers can be found throughout Shimmering Shrine and Cloudy Condos, so pick a location and do your best to survive while you look around. There are more D-Launchers at Cloudy Condos, but this area is far busier than the Shimmering Shrine, so there are pros and cons for everyone. In any case, use the map above to see where all the D-Launchers are located. All you have to do is use one to complete this quest.
