There’s a slim chance you’ll see the Dyson Airwrap in stock (much less on sale) everywhere this holiday season, but the Dyson will corrale is a different story – at least for a limited time.
From now until Saturday 3rd December at 11:59pm ET you can order the cordless hair straightener/styler directly from the Dyson website(opens in a new tab) for only $449.99 with the promo code DYSONLIVE22 at checkout (offered in honor of this week’s Dyson Live Christmas shopping event(opens in a new tab) with celebrity stylist Jen Atkin). In addition to this $50 discount off the $499.99 MSRP, you also have the option to bundle the Corrale with three free gifts totaling up to $125. Choose from the following:
Worth mentioning is the Nordstrom Rack(opens in a new tab) had the Corrale on sale for just $279.99 at the time of writing – the best price ever – but it is a refurbished model with a shorter warranty and is not eligible for return. It’s also only available in the standard Black Nickel/Fuchsia finish, while Dyson had models in Black Nickel/Fuchsia, Black/Purple, Fuchsia/Nickel, Copper/Nickel, Prussian Blue/Rich Copper, and this year’s special gift edition Vinca Blue/Rosé when we did last time looked.
The best parts of the new Dyson Airwrap might not be what you think they are
You can buy a brand new Corrale for $399.99 at Best Buy(opens in a new tab) if you have signed up for the free My Best Buy(opens in a new tab) Loyalty program (an ongoing Black Friday offer), but it doesn’t include freebies. When you factor those in, Dyson’s current offering is still the best.
Former Mashable tech reporter Rachel Kraus wasn’t a fan of the Corrale’s price tag or iffy battery life, but felt it was a worthy effort for anyone looking for a quick straightener that doesn’t damage their hair with everyday use eats. (Dyson says the Coralle’s manganese-copper alloy “flexible plates,” which flex around your hair rather than crush it, allow for styling with minimal heat damage.) It’s also an ace at soft curls and waves to create, Kraus noted in her 3.8/ 5 star rating if you’re looking for a hair tool that can do double duty. That helps somewhat to justify its cost, IMO.
“It is expensive; it’s flippant at the moment, but – like most Dyson offerings – it’s a great product,” concluded Kraus.
